Dr. Minh C. Tang completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) located in Chicago, IL in 2001.
Dr. Tang received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospitals in Battle Creek, MI and Three Rivers Junction, VT. While in Vermont, he participated in Medical Grand Rounds at the Dartmouth Medical School. He completed his pediatric, contact lens, and low vision training at the Illinois Eye Institute, one of Chicago’s premier eye clinics.
Dr. Tang started caring for patients in Minneapolis, Minnesota for 2 years before relocating back to Southern California to be closer to his family. He then cared for patients in private practices throughout Los Angeles County.
Dr. Tang is a licensed optometrist in the state of California and is trained and licensed to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceuticals for the treatment and management of ocular conditions. He is a member in the Asian American Optometric Society (AAOS), the California Optometric Association (COA), and American Optometric Association (AOA).
Dr. Tang grew up in Paris, France and now calls Southern California home. He enjoys quality time with his family and friends, playing basketball, and giving back to the community.
