Lauren Nghia Tang, O.D.

Dr. Lauren Nghia completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Revelle College at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). In 2004, she graduated with Honors from Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) located in Fullerton, CA where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree.

Dr. Nghia received optometric training at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, CA. She furthered her professional training at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Los Angeles, CA and Las Vegas, NV where she gained an insurmountable experience in ocular disease.

Dr. Nghia has been serving patients in private practices in the Los Angeles and Orange County area since 2004.

Dr. Nghia is a licensed optometrist in the state of California and is is trained and licensed to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceuticals for the treatment and management of ocular conditions. She is a member in the Asian American Optometric Society (AAOS), the California Optometric Association (COA), American Optometric Association (AOA) and a lifetime member of the Beta Sigma Kappa (BSK) Optometric Honor Society.

Dr. Nghia is a Southern California native and enjoys spending time with her husband (Dr. Tang) and their two young children (Natalie and Nathan). She loves great food along with great company and enjoys volleyball when time permits.
